Originally from Detroit, 6Mile Jp began making music at a very young age. Growing up in a family full of musicians, it wasn't surprising to see music become his passion as a child. As a teen, he began playing drums, bass guitar, and piano for his family's church in Detroit. However, when his mom bought him his first Ensoniq TS 10 keyboard he began to explore creating beats and producing music.

 From his first Stellar nomination to his placement in Furious 7 (Offset), its evident music runs through his veins. Currently, he is 1/3 of The Democratz production group and also works daily producing/mixing music and engineering.
